Sapphire Nebula

No one knows where a black hole goes in our known universe, however, in a nearly parallel existence it is known to the populous as a one way gate which can expel a force to reckon with, a force to destroy worlds. The black holes we know of are portals to the other side, and into a new universe, what goes in our way, goes out their way. The people of the neighboring planets, when given any chance, create a form of fortification to help protect them from the evil which will undoubtedly arrive. For the past 300 years nothing has come through the black hole, the population fortified a wall of energy, to deflect and destroy whatever it is that will be shot from the black hole, and be taken from the gravitational pull of the planets in their time of peace. Some say that it is fate that the wall protecting them was finished during the first storm of asteroids to come through the gateway in 3 centuries. Now is the time to see if all the work put into the wall will be in vain as the space rocks hurtle towards the planets in the Sapphire Nebula.
